    The Institute of Technology and Innovation (ITI) is a unit of the National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) with inherent powers to organize and implement training plans and programs for the government sector staff in the areas of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), in order to assist in the process of modernization.

    As part of the bilateral agreement between the governments of Panama and Korea, was created in September 2012, the Information Access Center Panama-Korea (CAIC) Building 169 in the City of Knowledge, with the aim of supporting the development of ICT in the country. In this regard, it states that AIG, through the Institute, is responsible for managing the center to promote the optimal use of ICT for both the public and private sectors.
