CIDES is a multinational initiative that was organized in July 2004. With a clear intention of creating spaces for the generation, transfer and dissemination of knowledge and experiences about sustainable development on the planet, CIDES already groups more than 90 Panamanian and foreign organizations, including, among others, governmental institutions, United Nations agencies, international organizations, universities and research centers, nongovernmental organizations, and organized indigenous communities.
