University of the Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD)

The City of Knowledge is promoting the creation of the University of the Environment and Sustainable Development as a reference center for generating knowledge and providing academic excellence in environmental and sustainable development programs.

We believe that the countries that are facing the most complex challenges in this area today are those that have the least trained staff and financial resources. Thus, UESD must provide access to quality information and to the best experts in environmental matters and sustainable development. Prior to starting the university, City of Knowledge is contacting universities in the United States and the European Union, as well as international organizations and specialized agencies.
