The City of Knowledge Foundation will implement soon an internal bus transportation system in order to facilitate the mobility of people who work, live or visit the campus and lack their personal transportation mean, or, once they have parked their vehicles, decide to move inside the campus in a sustainable manner.
On December 13 the Information Center of the United Nations in Panama (CINUP), located inside the City of Knowledge, held the closing ceremony in commemoration of the United Nations International Year of People of African Descendants.
Construction workers who specialize in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED), made two Christmas trees with materials from the construction of the new Commercial Plaza and Dormitories at the City of Knowledge.
Regarding its 30th anniversary, the Technological University of Panama organized the forum “Digital Television in Panama: The Challenges of the Analogic Shutdown”. The event took place at the Víctor Levy Sasso campus inside the Faculty of Computer Information Systems.
Architecture students of the Latin America and the Caribbean School of Architecture and Design ISTHMUS, located inside the City of Knowledge, built a green wall and roof as part of their seminar “Green Covers” given by architect Ana María Gutiérrez.
