The City of Knowledge Foundation and Alcenit Corporation invite you to the Meeting: Quality Software as a Driving Force for Competitiveness, which will be dictated by Engineer Jorge Boria on Tuesday, May 8th, at 5:30 p.m. inside the Training and Business Center of the City of Knowledge, Building 105.
Engineer Jorge Boria is Vice President of Liveware, Inc. (Austin, TX) and Qualified Observer of candidates to Lead Appraisers for the Quality Area of the Software Engineer Institute (SEI). In his 40 years of professional experience, Engineer Boria has served a wide range of roles in computer science: from programmer to technical manager in several domains such as embedded software, operating systems, compilers, MIS and administrative applications. He has a Masters of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Computer Science degree from the University of Buenos Aires. Author of the book "Software Engineering" and “Operating System Design" he is a frequent participant in conferences of Software Process in Latin America and the United States.
