Environmental Management

We are in the bridge of the Americas, and the Panama Isthmus is, no doubt, one of the planet's environmental treasures. Leading environmental education institutions, both national and international, operate from the City of Knowledge. There are research centers for climate change, environmental monitoring (such as the one developed by NASA), companies working on reforestation, on various aspects of the power industry, or on clean development mechanism (CDM) management.

A large environmental cluster is growing, both in terms of companies and multinational or non-profit institutions.
